Some players have complained that going to the forums and finding the server related post about banned items to be tedious. My suggestion is to add a chat command that will give you a link to the forum post.
If you have Discord you can just use the modded server channels and go to the pinned messages. That'll show the banned items list. Alternatively you could just bookmark the banned items page.
Literally that, check our discord and head over to #modded to see how you can access the modded channels and check the pins.
