I find it COMPLETELY and UTTERLY ridiculous that the use of caps is limited in such an utterly stupid fashion. I mean I could write a simple respectful sentence and would get muted for it just cause I used capital letters. The mods are fully capable of judging situations so they will be able to tell if the use of caps is necessary. I mean honestly who mutes someone for capitalizing their sentences. even if somebody writes 3 words in just caps. So what? what harm does it do? The highest amount of people I have seen online at once is 10. I mean it doesn't flood chat at all. If you cant trust your staff to make choices and think for themselves there's something completely wrong. If somebody has the intention of flooding or spamming chat its gonna be obvious but this rule about a maximum of 9 capital letters is ridiculous. I mean its like saying you can have a maximum of 3 periods, 400 letters and 29 words in a message. How ridiculous is that??!?! Just let mods do their job, let them MODERATE. This means they judge situations or events that happen and will react accordingly. In this case, they wouldn't mute anyone who says anything in the server and instead would analyze a situation and react accordingly, only punishing the people with malicious intent, those who WANT to spam the chat. Capitalising is 1. used to express emotion and 2. In case you have not realized (which it seems like you have not) its a part of the English language! I mean if you mute people for talking English or any language for that matter you might as well ban people for talking. Kind Regards A person who tries to have fun on your server but cant cause he gets muted all the time for using 10 capital letters instead of 9.
Tip from someone who had the same issue on another server: Do not use caps at all. Suggestion denied.
