I want to know how people on this server feel about a new and improved MegaSurvival! I would like suggestions to what you think would make a Survival server appealing and fun for everyone! Reply down below to what you want. (Some of it might not be guaranteed)
I'm not very good at survival and I prefer to do it in a group rather than alone. A bit like factions but you don't compete. While you can add people to your protections, There wouldn't be group names (this is possible if you'd like) but more like parties in survival. There would only be two ranks which are pretty straight forward. Member Part of group. Can build, open chests etc. Leader Member+ Can claim land and invite/kick/promote players in group. I'd like to see special grouping commands. For example: Members /Group Chat <on/off> Toggles chat that only group members can see. /Group Home Teleports you to a group home that a leader sets. /Group Join <Player Who Invited You> Accepts invite request from group that invited you. Leader /Group Invite <Player> Invites player to the group /Group Promote <Player> Ranks member up to leader. /Group Kick <Player> Removes player from group. (Player who made group cannot be kicked) [Normal survival commands to claim, etc.] This isn't necessary at all, and its stupid but I thought I might aswell share. Edit: Groups are the reason why people find factions so attractive, they get to play alongside their friends. Feel free to add onto what I said.

Honestly idc but usually in survival i like to just go build my house in the mountains where no one will find me. What may appeal to many people tho is if we can give people a sense of happiness and self-esteem after completing certain tasks Custom crafting things may be cool too but idk how to make those without mods but then again blues a coding wiz so
I am currently completely lost with Survival because a skeleton shot me and someone else took my book and starter tools ;-; I'm also annoyed that you have to use up all of your hunger travelling miles and miles away just to find an area more than 3x3 that you can claim, kill animals and build on. So a new Survival would be wonderful. I think @Shadow_Friend found your house Devil
The old survival had a bunch of flaws. One is, like Brokencrystal said the long journey to an area suitable for settling. There has to be some sort of commamd to teleport you to an area outside of a claimed area on the edge of the "circle" of plots in survival. Also, some sort of chest drop system. Every day, a chest would drop near your plot containing materials. If you open it every day it would have better and better materials.
hold up who the hell is shadow friend agreed karthik, there were many flaws. the chest system would be pretty cool, if it could like spawn somewhere randomly like the farther away it is the more loot it contains.
Better player protections, or maybe you can decide how big you want it for a limit of maybe 50x50. But it would send a message to staff so they can check that the player is using the feature appropiately. Community Exchange: People can leave unwanted things for others who may need them.
And maybe a better currency for new uses. This could link with the community exchange so anyone can fill up the chests but you have to pay to buy them. Though..that would just be like ChestSHop, which leads me on to say that I hope chestshop is fixed
Possibly a well-done dueling system fully setup with bets. Possibly a nice player market (somewhat like how Steam Marketplace has it), Maybe custom bosses too. Also some more magic stuff, like possibly levitation and custom enchants (with lore preferably if @Syanar is still writing it). Also with a server shop, inflammation of the currency would be nice too (there are some plugins that can do that)
A betting system isn't really necessary. You can just make a bet with friends in you want. It would be a waste of time tbh. I like the other ideas though.
