    Just wanted to do a test to see how many frames-per-second people get:

    Use Minecraft 1.8.3

    Go on Multiplayer and join Mega

    Set your settings (under Options -> Video Settings) to the following and then post what your fps is whilst you are staying still and running.
    Render distance: 16 Chunks
    Smooth Lighting: Maximum
    Graphics: Fancy
    Particles: All
    Max Framerate: Unlimited
    Use VSync: Off

    My fps with the above settings;
    Standing still: 180-200
    Running: 200-500

    Please post your fps :)

    *facepalm*
    To rank up post here: http://mc-mega.com/threads/novice-information-and-rank-thread.709/ and play on the server for 5 hours then you will rank up.

    Also, FPS means frames-per-second; it measures your computer performance, so you didn't need to post an intro on this thread :/

    When I get round to doing this test I'll post. But I think for me it's usually 30fps. But I will do the full thingy.

    And I just tested it I had 2-15fps. Plus I was in a forest. Too laggy I use 1.8.1 optifine atm. But I did test it on 1.8.3 vanilla.
