    Hello applicant,

this thread covers the typical questions regarding the application process. If your question is not answered within this thread, ask a staff member before submitting your application to prevent mistakes.
The application has a header, the header includes information how to fill in the application and how to behave if you are rejected. Not following those instructions leads to disqualification from all further application, it's a simple test if you can read and follow rules.

Some of the questions include commands to gather the required information, please run the command ingame and put in the information required. Do not guess the result! If you are unable to log in to gather the information, postpone the application and continue when you can log in again.

A different type of questions require 100+ words per question. Why that? This way we want to gather a bit more information about you, so please take the time and type it out. A single line sentence can't and won't fulfill the question.
If you want, you can type more than 100 words, it's just the minimum requirement.
Also, do not ask a staff member to review your application or to look at it, this will result in an immediate denial.
Make sure that every answer is correct, lying is not in your best interest and will be punished with the full vigor of the rules.

    What are we looking for:
We are looking for active members of the community. You must be a member of the community for at least 3 months, regardless all playtime. That is just a recommendation, but given that, we make sure you are familiar with the servers itself.
You should be able to dedicate an average of 5 hours a week to being involved with AJGaming and be present on Discord whenever possible. It doesn't matter if you cannot fulfill that requirement once, just let us know about.
In addition to this, there are many other factors which we may consider when reviewing applications, including, but not limited to:
    - Extent, consistency and usefulness of involvement and contributions within the community.
    - Previous punishments
    - General attitude, behaviour, presentation and manner (including outside of the AJGaming Network)
    - Existing involvement with AJGaming outside of the public areas (BETA, player reports, feature suggestions, etc.)

    Formatting
The application form does not have a style header like you know it from forum posts, because we don't want you to overuse any text formats, colored message, etc. It allows us to read it more smoothly and doesn't look like a sticker album. Make sure to check your spelling and sentence structure before submitting your application, yet we understand that English isn't everyone's first language, but please try to make sure your sentences make sense.

    Uniqueness and style
You are accepted or denied based on what you wrote on your staff application, so don't expect the reader to know anything about you that wasn't stated. We received several thousand applications within the past six years and you have no clue how similar some of them look. So ensure to reflect your skills and write them down within your personal style; read through your answers and ask yourself whether you could put your answer on anyone else's application and it would fit.
If the answer is yes then consider changing it, making sure that it fits your individual thoughts, experiences and traits.

    After submitting the application
If you filled out all questions and submitted the application, you get redirected to the forums home page. That indicates that the application has been submitted successfully and the staff team received them.
If you want to edit your application, you can do that here.
Your application will be reviewed within the next 3 weeks started from the date of submission (but we try to get back to you within 1 week).
To check your application status, click here. If you can't find, check Accepted/Denied Applications for your feedback.
If you are rejected, you will receive an answer and feedback below your application how to improve. If the application has been accepted, you receive a response as well. After that, a staff mentor will contact you via Discord within 3 days, if you do not respond within 5 days, your applicant spot will be given to the next person and your application status will change to denied.

    If you are accepted
If you responded to the mentor on discord, they will introduce you into the doings as staff, for the next 2 weeks, you will be a Trainee and have to prove your skill and talent. If the weeks passed by, you will be evaluated based on your doings, behavior and learning process. If you pass it, you will become a Helper and a member of the staff team, otherwise your mentor will look for alternative ways to prove yourself.

The full application process can take up to 5 weeks (mostly takes 3 - 4 weeks), so you have to allot your time.
If you are going on vacation, having exams, moving or anything similar which takes loads of your spare time, do not apply! If you are accepted and have no time to be active, you cannot prove your skill and you will end up in losing your Trainee position. To prevent that, ensure you have enough time you can dedicate to your new position.

Okay, that was a long text, but clears up the application process a lot :)
Now you are ready to submit your staff application.
    Good Luck ;)
