I was thinking that, but on the vanilla nodes there is a custom /team command and an access denied messge
I'm going to be rewriting the way nodes are launched so they are not idling when no players are on them. This will result in a slight delay when joining a new game (only for the first player), but will hopefully decrease the amount of server lag significantly since vanilla minecraft is extremely inefficient.
@BlueFusion12Is there any chance their could be an option to spectate games? So if you are waiting for more players to join the lobby you could spectate a game in progress? Just thought this would be a cool thing to add. Keep up the excellent work! -Mas2801 EDIT: Maybe this should be in the "Suggestions" section
This isn't the only MissileWars server that is automated. Have you seen PlayMindcrack? It has MissileWars! Edit: Apparently, it's also the official MissileWars server. :|
It seems the one at playmindcrack is not fully automated, it only uses the default vanilla functionality built into the game. Thus, team choosing, readying up, altering game settings, etc. are not available. Furthermore, it is only a single server, not a network of 10 nodes like we have.
Today while playing i saw finsgraphics and his brother playing on the server i tought it was kinda cool so im sharing it (if you dont know finsgraphics and his brother make minecraft art and have 140k subs on youtube)
So when i said this some time ago i didnt know they where acutally recording and turned out they uploaded it i tought it was pretty cool
i think what he means is that the nodes arent working last time i was in mw all the nodes wouldnt start and i forgot to tell you but idk if it is fixed
