research and my knowledge says that when it's below 90 the you have what its called hypoxemia which is the abnormally low oxygen level the lowest you could go is probably lower than 79 or 80. This could happen with anything that can involve your lungs being corrupted with a disease or a particle that does block oxygen when you're inhaling to go in your lungs and exhale CO2.
