If you manage to keep it on for long enough, try Auslogics DiskDefrag and CCleaner? CCleaner may be best first as it will clear some space, speed up the computer and keep it running longer for Auslogics. On the other hand, that may not be what was causing the problem in the first place...
Your CPU is most likely running at 100% right away when you launch your pc/laptop. I had same problem and found the thing causing it, it was a software that came with other program I downloaded.
You could put a fan right next to it so it doesn't overheat. I did that for my xbox 360 a few years back and it seemed to work. No red rings :D. If that doesn't work then ask your parents to call someone
