I see that as being unnecessarily rude/inappropriate, but you can try to get your mute lifted in the ban/mute appeals section if you haven't already.
Calling staff that is disrespectful; not just to staff but any player on the server or forums. It is a word staff do not appreciate in chat therefore you got muted for calling a staff that word.
