Hey everyone!! So the reason for this thread, is that we are making some changes to the staff ranking system and hierarchy. First and most importantly, we are adding a rank that is essentially a helper rank, under the name of Trusted. So basically, this rank is going to have the basic commands, that almost fulfill what our current moderator rank did. This meaning that they will be mostly kicking, banning, and muting players when needed. This rank will be given a lot more freely compared to our current admission and application acceptance rate. Players that have tried in the past and have come a bit short, this is your chance! All that you need to do is fulfill the basic requirements that are already listed, fill out the application, and wait for our decision. Here is where everyone can come in! So once an application is accepted, we will move it to a different sub-thread, and then we ask EVERYONE to comment on it, and tell us your thoughts on the new accepted Trusted members. This way, we can see the community's reaction to the new trusted member, and help us decide their fate! It would be great if we could get as many people replying to the first few trusted players to help us figure out exactly what needs configuring and what works / what doesn't. This leads to the final part of this, we are deciding to promote @RodneyWayne11 @Charger15 @SidStrafes_ as of now, to start this off. If you would like to try and apply for this rank, I highly encourage everyone to reapply! We are giving more people chances at this rank and would love to make additions! In terms of the other staff ranks, we are redistributing ranks and commands to all of the ranks, to help enable our current staff members to have anything they need to help them fulfill whats needed from them. This meaning admins and moderators specifically will be getting more commands etc! Thanks for your time, and best wishes from the Megacraft Team! EDIT: There will no longer be an option to apply for Moderator. Only apply for the Trusted rank, Moderator will be decided by Blue and I when needed!
Thats a great idea Kadrek. The reason megacraft is so popular is because of things like this. Keep up the great work.
I think this is a bad idea, cuz people can lie when applying and like mute, ban, and kick EVERYBODY ON THE SERVER, so be really selective to this
Have no fear! We will, of course, make sure to promote only people that will use it for good. Furthermore, if for some reason a bad apple makes it through the application process, their powers are somewhat limited, meaning they can only mute/ban for a max of something around 5 hours, and then the community can be sure to respond and let us know what is happening. Essentially, in the instance of an unfortunate circumstance, we will have provisions to counter it!
First off, I'd like to thank all the staff who were able to look past the way I acted and see I've changed. I am honoured to have this rank and I hope I can serve mega craft community in a positive way.

It is stated in one of the posts for the ranks that only Mod+ will be able to review. Mods - Builder Admins - Experienced Super Admins - Architect Owners - Artisan
Wow, I think this could be a change for the better on mega! And congratulations to the 3 already promoted players! ( I hope I have a better chance this time..)
