    Then I saw sk89q is running it. For those who don't know, he's the guy who wrote WorldEdit and WorldGuard as well as few of their implementations(Like the WorldEdit Bukkit plugin). He's a mighty fine programmer, probably one of the best in the Minecraft modding community.

    Sponge is gonna be good, guys. =]

    I've read about it, and I think it is going to be what cleans up the mess Bukkit was left as. :)
