On the creative server there is ONLY 1 Mod admins and mods have to do their job and not leave to 1 guy handle it alone bcd helping 80 ppl is impossible So owners and admins and mods If u want to make a good server 1 or 2 of u got the the creative server to help the only mod there (JeqDoesMC) Jeq did not tell me to do this i decided to post it bcz he's alone and half of us can't get and he's probably stressed too,,,
Easy There Captain, at the timebeing alot of the staff members tend to have school. usually there are a few on and do the best they can
Captain_yognaut, There was thread like this before and it wasn't really needed. Everyone knows how the server works, Admins come online when they have time to come, no can do if they have school. It might just be frustrating to not see "any" admins online. I would like to get Moderator applications back up to get some help on creative sometimes when others are not online.
@Captain_Yognaut Thanks for your suggestions. We are currently looking to expand our staff base, but given that school is now in full session a lot of our staff are limited on time. We all do our best to be on as much as possible, but IRL stuff has to take priority.
Well, Ok. What should we do to let people can apply for staff(s)? This will get another problem. Let me word copy the situation on another server. "staff apply-admin"(x1) "can i apply for mod?"(x2) "i want to be helper"(x3) "application for staff"(x4) "Staff appl."(x5) (The server got those in THE SAME DAY as they open up the appl. page.) and yes. "Overloaded Staff appls". This need more discussing......
The obvious solution here is to hire staff between 2 to 3 years of age. Therefore they have not yet entered Pre-School and don't have any complications getting on during school hours.
If they have their own computer + premium minecraft account, that would be a great suggestion tho. (don't take life too seriously bro)
Yep. Because building is what staff need to be able to do the most.... We need responsible people. That makes it really hard because the responsible ones aren't the ones asking for the rank.
How about instead of getting more mods, we get something like Guardians or Centurions (idk I'm just making up names) so that we can have people on who have the power to mute and kick (not ban, and only kick for like 30 minutes) people? Cause when I get on... I hate to say it but there are certainly no staff on of any kind. And I am on for a few hours usually. I also have school, so that excuse is gone. I also hate when people get on, spew a bunch of racist crap and not a single staff member does something (you know who you are). I have zero tolerance for racism, and so should the rest of you. Also when I get on, sometimes there are staff on. Sometimes they are active, but 60% of the time they are not (a wee bot over half). I know that you are busy and are doing other things, I get that. Which is why I think a protector sort of rank is a good idea. Anyway, at least give my idea a wee bit of thought. Toodles.
This was rude, really. You cant expect us to be online 24/7, we have life too... And that helper rank thingy you were suggesting is basicly same as mod. Im having a exam week (7 subject tests) and also school on saturday for next 2 weeks and im still more online than you... Also you said when we are online, we dont help you? We will check your reports/problems/buildings as soon as we get spare time for it. Im pretty sure you've not been staff before on semi-popular server. The staff jobs may seem easy, but there are alot of things we do when you dont even notice it. You need to understand how hard the work is to keep all the people happy on the server, there will be situations when you have to wait, but we wont forget to help you when we got the time for it.
Jeq and I probably get the rough end of the deal. We're in time zones when other staff aren't usually on.
i agree with the guarian thing its a good idea but staff have also school and irl stuff and irl is more important that a game
