I just got an new idea for creative and wanted to share it with you guys. So, my idea is to add more ranks and new judge system. Let me explain, So when people join they get the default rank as usual, but if they want to rank up, they will have to do something like /plot review to set it ready for review mode and then judges can do /plot review list and check the creations if they are good enough for rank up. If it is they can do /plot review accept and it will promote the player to next level and if the creation is not good enough, they do /plot review deny and the player can try again after 2 hours. And about the judges, judges are chosen by owners and those judges are great builders and maybe also staff members. I got this idea when someone on creative were asking where are the server rank list and he was pretty disappointed when i said there is only 1 rank so far. Also this will bring and keep the players on the server longer cause they have motivation to build to get the rank. Also i tried to make the rank names ready for you. Default, [Novice], [Builder], [Experienced], [Artisan], [Architect], [V] = Reviewer Edit: Non-staff reviewers could just rank up people to rank builder and after that staff reviews will do the rest.
Do you have any people in mind for reviewers? and can you upgrade to a rank with the same build? or skip ranks?
My idea was you can just get 1 rank with 1 building and Owners will choose the reviewers, hopefully i can be one .
Are ranks going to be like... skip-able for example, an amazing looking build can get architect or artisan after 1 go? Also, the people who are already architect, what will happen to us?
Amazing build... well i think it would get max 2 rank ups, but people has to know that they cant normally rank more than 1 rank at once. So if they are great builder i recommend them to build something small at the start, it would be kinda stupid if you build one thing and you get the max rank already, thats almost the same as we have on creative right now. I think all Architects should get reset to Novice, even tho there is alot of good builders out there, after reset they can set review at their other 3 plots and maybe rank up some ranks. What i actually found out is that you would have to get +1 plot on every rank after 3rd rank up, if they wont delete their buildings. I wonder if thats alright.
I really do not want to be reset back down to Novice, simply because I have already worked really hard to make a bunch of stuff simply to get a better rank. As I understand it, everyone who has no rank will basically become a Novice right? Also, will each of my builds be judged seperately so that I may progress up the ranks, or will all of my existing builds be lumped together for one single review?. Perhaps you and other staff members could just go around and review all of the Architects anyway, I think some of them need to be reverted down to Builder anyway.
What i though was that you will get Novice with your architect build and you can set review to your other plots to get ranked up and all who are not architect now will be Default rank. This is mainly because some of the Architects haven't really built anything that great to get the new architect rank.
I think that this is a great idea! I'd definitely go for the ranks and also I think you should be a reviewer
This plugin is pretty much done. Tomorrow I will install it and test it out. If all goes as planned, this system should be implemented tomorrow!
